Financial Advisor Assistant
We are looking for a people-focused, detail-oriented Financial Advisor Assistant to join our growing practice. This position offers variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to help shape how the role develops over time.
Responsibilities
- Support the financial advisor with day-to-day client service and office operations.
- Assist with new account openings, transfers, and rollovers.
- Prepare and process client paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with clients by phone, email, and in person for follow-ups and scheduling.
- Maintain organized client records and assist with compliance documentation.
- Help plan and coordinate client appreciation events and marketing initiatives.
- Manage general administrative tasks such as data entry, file management, and correspondence.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — a genuine “people person.”
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay organized across multiple priorities.
- Comfort learning financial processes and terminology (training provided).
- Previous experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or office administration is preferred but not required.
- Strong general computer skills, including working with email and office software.
- High integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information.
